Bright Sunshine of His Blessing

 

As bright as the sunshine is,
On a hot late August day.
So is the fulness of His blessing,
As we walk daily in His revealed ways.

The brightness of the sun's rays,
Brings forth much heat and light.
Reminding us, that if we trust in God,
Our faith-dreams will soon become sight.

Walk faithfully with your God,
And His blessings to you, He will unfold.
Some of these blessings,
The Prophet Isaiah wrote --
Will come forth,
Brighter than the light of the sun,
Even more than seven fold.

About the Poet
I am 73 years old and have not written poetry in these past many years For my wife of 73, my daughter of 50 and my son, 44 in the Army National guard I write this poem in faith but also with tear.
