My Heart Leaps High!

My Heart Leaps High!

There is so much about America,
That is so overwhelming to me.
Its natural beauties and man-made wonders,
Make my heart leap as high -- As The Statue of Liberty.

America is the light of the world,
Exporting of religion, commerce, education and freedom
Is an incomparable noble act of charity.
Her willingess to be a servant of her God and others,
Makes my heart leap as high -- As The Statue of Liberty.

There are now those among us, Who want to change her tone.
Sadly they want to live in personal selfishness and greed,
Yet, for the true American, our freedom
Is not just for us alone.
The presence of such a patriotic remnant,
Makes my heart leap as high -- As The Statue of Liberty.

So let us all on the fourth of July,
Sing joyously, "My Country Tis of Thee"
And proudly wave the old red, white and blue,
As our hearts leap as high -- As The Statue of Liberty.
