In The Year 2003
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Other Poems by George David Denson

In the year of our Lord, 2003;
I find myself spending
much time on my knees.
The needs around me are so great;
My prayers are being packaged
in a soul-caring crate.

Interceeding to heaven on others behalf;
Becomes a stong wind
to help blow away the ever growing chaff.
Taking our new year concerns;
To a listening God,
will keep the enemy from doing us any harm.

For help from heaven above;
I fervently plead with my God
while standing in His great love.
Tis my calling and my joy;
In faith believing,
His saving grace and wisdom to employ.

In the year of our Lord, 2003
Making time for prayer
is a must;
If our world
and its inhabited souls
are going to be set free.
