A Lad and His Lunch
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

A Lad and His Lunch

Once upon a time,
And in a far away place;
We are told the story,
Of another act of God's amazing grace.

A great multitude of people were intently
Listening to Jesus insightfully teach;
As they grew hungry, feeding this multitude
Became a task well beyond their reach.

One young boy offered His lunch,
In a sacrifice that made His heart proud;
Five loaves, two fishes -- but what were they,
Among such an awesome hungry crowd.

The young lad gave his all to Jesus,
The Master gave thanks and fed the great multitude;
Each day you and I should give our all,
And bring blessings to God's kingdom, ourselves,
and others too!
