TRAGIC EFFECTS OF BOREDOM

"What a great idea,
Why not try it out?
This idea will fly"
He has no doubt
Walking to the top of the stairs
Tripping on his sox
He feels very confident
stepping into the box
"Special delivery!!!"
Here he goes
How will this end?
Only God knows
Pushing off the top
The speed starts to rise
Hitting his head on the bottom
It suddenly stops with cries
He's on his way to the ER
To get some stitches in his head
I guess he won't be doing this again
Spending his next few days in bed

True story and this poem was written (and performed!) by my grandson...Matt Moser (Bonnie David)
