My Heart Hears, Sounds of Christmas

Far off in a distance, I can hear hearts singing.
Joyfully church bells are loudly ringing.

Christmas is a time for sharing,
Old time memories we are wearing.

Christmas is the time,
    when jubilant hearts sing.
Christmas is the time,
     when joyfull bells ring.

Christmas is the time to renew hopes and dreams.
This, I believe, is what Christmas means.

"Thou shalt make thy prayer unto Him, and
He shall hear thee..."(Job 22:27) KJV

About the Poet
Born on October 24, 1939, I was one of seven children. I am now a mother of seven grown children, grandmother of 18, widow, and writer for the past 50 years mostly poetry. Day care provider of many years, now retired. Three poetry books published, but no longer in print, several little poem books self published. Published in local newspapers, several magazines and daily devotionals. My faith, family and writing poetry has brought me thus far.
