The Master's Face
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

The Master's Face

Communing with nature
He reveals Himself to me.

I can see the Master's face
in every rock and tree.

Every majestic mountain,
or small sloping hill.

Sitting by a quiet river
gives me a lasting thrill.

Looking out and upward
as I walk across this land

I know for certain
a sunrise or sunset

are etched gently
by His hand.

"Speak to the earth, and it shall
teach thee." (Job 12:8)

About the Poet
Born on October 24, 1939, I was one of seven children. I am now a mother of seven grown children, grandmother of 18, widow, and writer for the past 50 years mostly poetry. Day care provider of many years, now retired. Three poetry books published, but no longer in print, several little poem books self published. Published in local newspapers, several magazines and daily devotionals. My faith, family and writing poetry has brought me thus far.
