Turn Your Tears to Joy

Turn Your Tears To Joy

It is through my loss
that I bear this cross.

Though the pain is more than
   I can bear,
I let the grief go and my
   God is there.

He helps me do His will
   each day.
In solitude, I meditate on
   Him and pray.

My tears fall freely, I do the
   best I can.
In my heart, God reveals
   His greater plan.

"Those who sow in tears shall
reap with songs of Joy."
      (Psalms 126:5) NIV

About the Poet
Born on October 24, 1939, I was one of seven children. I am now a mother of seven grown children, grandmother of 18, widow, and writer for the past 50 years mostly poetry. Day care provider of many years, now retired. Three poetry books published, but no longer in print, several little poem books self published. Published in local newspapers, several magazines and daily devotionals. My faith, family and writing poetry has brought me thus far.
