Faith

Praise Him

Since the old testament

Prophets told of Him,

Moses heard Him.

God moved across

The deserts

In wondrous ways.

Christ, His son was

Sent to save us

By his death

On the cross.

I rejoice,

I am His child,

I can not help but...

Praise Him,

Praise Him, and

Praise Him even more.

I praise Him

Each  morning,

Each evening

And even during the day.

"I see God moving across the deserts from Mt. Sinani, His brilliant

splendor fills the earth and sky; His glory fills the heavens and the

earth is full of His praise. What a wonderful God He is."(Habakkuk 3:3)

author's note: This poem and others were sent to some Marines when they

were stationed in Iraq. My nephew, included.

About the Poet
Born on October 24, 1939, I was one of seven children. I am now a mother of seven grown children, grandmother of 18, widow, and writer for the past 50 years mostly poetry. Day care provider of many years, now retired. Three poetry books published, but no longer in print, several little poem books self published. Published in local newspapers, several magazines and daily devotionals. My faith, family and writing poetry has brought me thus far.
