God Speaks in Silence
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

God Speaks in Silence

In silence

God speaks

And He waves

To me

With each

Measure

Of the wind.

Solitude means

A quiet bond

He with me

And...me with Him.

The only sounds

That I hear

Is the joyful

Beat of my heart

And the melody

Of the wind.

"He knows every detail of what is happening to me;

and when He has examined me completely will

pronounce me completely innocent...as pure

as solid gold. I have stayed in God's paths,

following His steps, I have not turned aside."

(Job 23:10-11)

author's note: I would like to claim this verse from Job

as my life verse.

About the Poet
Born on October 24, 1939, I was one of seven children. I am now a mother of seven grown children, grandmother of 18, widow, and writer for the past 50 years mostly poetry. Day care provider of many years, now retired. Three poetry books published, but no longer in print, several little poem books self published. Published in local newspapers, several magazines and daily devotionals. My faith, family and writing poetry has brought me thus far.
