Spring Bursts Forth
 

Lord, seems You tell
about Spring in scripture
right in the very beginning.

When I see the green
leaves in all the trees
the blossoms, too.

I feel closer to You
in Spring than in
any other season.

The trees, the birds singing,
the newness  of nature
all comes from You.

I am forever grateful
and marvel at all
of Your creations.

Thank You!


Let the earth burst forth with every sort of grass
and seed-bearing plant, and fruit trees with
seeds inside the fruit, so that these seeds
will produce the kinds of plants and fruits
they come from."(Genesis 1:11-12)

About the Poet
Born on October 24, 1939, I was one of seven children. I am now a mother of seven grown children, grandmother of 18, widow, and writer for the past 50 years mostly poetry. Day care provider of many years, now retired. Three poetry books published, but no longer in print, several little poem books self published. Published in local newspapers, several magazines and daily devotionals. My faith, family and writing poetry has brought me thus far.
