I Prayed A Prayer Of Faith

I prayed a prayer of faith and look!
Look what it has done...
It brought me to a relationship 
With Jesus Christ God's Son
I believed His Word and whamo!
What a change took place
I never felt so clean before
Praise God for amazing grace!

His Word is quick and powerful
Jam packed by the Spirit
And lives are really really changed
In hearts of those who hear it
So give a listen to God's Word
It's absolutely free
They that believe by saving faith 
Will enjoy eternity

I prayed a prayer of faith and found
That God was really there
It was astounding to my soul 
How much He reaĺly cared
He drew me in through Calvary
The way of the Cross led home
And by the assurance of His Spirit
Now I'm never alone!

Now I'm never alone...amen!
My God is by my side
He's there when I awaken
And He's there at eventide
The prayer I use to pray
When I laid me down to sleep
My Lord has given me validation
That my soul He'll keep!!!

No wonder I am singing now
Or I'm whistling every day
Since my sins have been forgiven
His hallelujah's are my Stay
For I know in Whom I have believed
Has made a believer out of me
All those years I spent in vanity and pride
Were taken away at Calvary!!!

The joy of the Lord is our strength
For He's our mighty tower
As the Maker of the universe
He still holds all the power
So why not trust...I mean really trust
In that One who shed His blood 
And find yourself in Heaven with
The Saviour who is God!!!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
