Miraculously Preserved

 MIRACULOUSLY  PRESERVED

God's Word miraculously preserved
How I praise His name
It abides forever. ..yes eternally
It shall never be changed
Though heaven and earth may pass away
No fate shall His Word know
For He Himself the living Word
Yes He...has deemed it so!

Down through the ages men have tried
To change...thus saith the Lord
But they prove themself fools
By trying to change God's Word
Line upon line precept up
on precept
Truth that's found therein
Building to the greatest truth of all
Christ died for our sin

In Christ was God.....humility of Deity
The Creator became my Salvation
Offering Himself...heaven's Finest!
Sings my soul with jubilation
There my sin was suddenly  revealed....
I was doomed to damnation
But the precious blood of Jesus Christ
Secured so great Salvation

What wondrous Word.....It is
 alive
And quickens hungry hearts
And by the Spirit brings home truth
The which shall not depart
Bless Thy Word Lord in these days
When all around there's pain
Revive thy  church to it's first love
To serve Thee once again

My Thy Word be preached with power
May it reach the hearts of men
May it render conviction by Thy Spirit
And men be born again
May it have supremacy
In the life of each believer
May every soul that's without Christ
Repent before they leave here

About the Poet
I came to know the Lord as my personal Saviour in January of 1972. I was married on Oct 21,1966 to my wife Linda who also loves the Lord. We have ten children and now twenty-four grand children. In Aug 2012 we got the announcement of the birth of our first GREAT grand child (a baby girl). I was thrilled to find others of like precious faith and belief in Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! What a Savior! I am presently living in Champion, Alberta, Canada but we are originally from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. That is where the poem Canadian Tribute to America was birthed. One Sunday as I walked across the city on my way to church I came to the top of a hill and looked across at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. After watching the events of the Sept 11 tragedy it was weighing on my heart and mind and the Lord gave me these words. We came to Calgary and when my oldest daughter saw this poem she said, Dad, whats this? and I said a poem and she replied Dad, thats not a poem , thats a song and she then went to the piano and began to sing and play it. The result of which turned into a song entitled, A Canadian Tribute to America which she recorded on CD. garyjamessmith2005@yahoo.ca
