      Serve Fresh Bread Daily (3)

So child of God don’t play the fool

Alone the true are Jesus’ tool

Convey life’s Light to hearts of stone

Not the wisdom of flesh and bone

Through their shepherd, sheep can lose out

Spiritual void lends food to doubt

Tender young plants should daily feed

God’s Promised Dove will meet the need –1Ki.17:6

Power can turn a shepherd’s head

Uprooting from where truth has led

Where food from God would feed the flock

Priests when proud are a stumbling block

True ministers will fast and pray

They’ll hear what Jesus has to say

The Spirit transforms with quiet groans

Priests once blocks, into stepping stones

So wait on God, receive fresh bread

Then freely serve raising the dead

God’s sheep will never leave or stray

When thus well fed, His flock will stay –Jer.23:4

While sheep ignored on barren ground –1Co.14:26

Oft roam to priest who’ll more confound

To priests who neither fast or pray

Who stop the flow and hide The Way –Mt.23:13

Neglect may come; from priests who care!

Have their Elders; views they don’t share?

Should not Elders seek Jesus’ views?

Or are they scared their jobs to lose?

Children of God who read this rhyme

Who think it all a waste of time

Perhaps through Christ you’ll change your view

For surely this was meant for you…

About the Poet
I never wrote a word of poetry in my life. Till the day Jesus took my hand and touched my soul.....I invite your response. However most poems are not about me! Very few are. But the feed-back good, bad or indifferent is always desired. Not meant to offend, but I write about many things in many a guise. Of life, death, lost, found, saved, backsliders, new comers, repenting souls, doubting hearts, heathens, Christians, fire, water, Satan's daughter, wallowing in sin, saved, made sound walking in Light, graceful righteous. Suffering, ecstatic, bored, excited, sad, delighted, Sick, well, lame, able, living, dying, etc. etc. etc. Writing about anything, everything and everyone as the spirit leads. All meant to reveal, waken, revive, encourage, shame, help. Gladden, pick up, exalt, portrait, liberate. Again over 99% of my work is not about me. Although at times I write as though I were or am. Speaking e.g. in the first person. This is quite common even in the bible itself. Prophets speak of themselves, then God speaks, again the prophet, then God......Quite often it's difficult to distinguish whom it is that at any given time is speaking or narrating.
