Survey & Pray

The sands of time are running out

For those of woman born

For those still lost living in doubt

Of Jesus’ second dawn

How can we bring the blind to see?

How are the deaf to hear?

That like the flood the time will be

When souls perish in fear –Rev.6:15-7

By grace my God I’ve seen The Light

Through Christ You’ve made it mine

How can this child give people sight?

How can I serve Life’s Wine?

Without The Holy Ghost within

Without The Truth & Way

Without Your blood to wash their sin

They’ll suffer judgement day

As watchman now the bride should shout

The signs are crystal clear

The world must learn what life’s about

Before The Cloud is here –Act.1:11

The fig-tree’s green and bearing fruit –Mt.24:32-35

The chosen, flood the land

Zion will see king David’s Root

And truly understand

Just like a thief He’ll soon arrive

That glorious promised day

Where but the few with faith survive

Who’ve walked Salvation’s Way

How terrible for those then lost

Who’ll share the devil’s fate

Whom Christ as Lamb paid high the cost

Who’ll seek His face too late..…

           Pray & Observe

I see to whom the devil’s lied

Obvious facts so real

I feel God’s love The Truth inside

The pangs His heart must feel

Above the world I’m flying high

Though suffering comes to view

Through Jesus’ love I start to cry

For all they need is “You”

While heartstrings twist so taught to break

Compassion floods my soul

I think of Satan’s flaming lake

Within the darkest hole

I see the agonies of hell

I hear the sobs of pain

I’ve such a need the world to tell

Of life when born-again

I think of grace, of selfless love

Your Son who bore the blame

The promise to reign with Christ above

Who trust and call His name

Now bearing fruit is my desire

A hundred fold and more

So those yet lost may feel Your Fire

May rise through Heaven’s Door

By grace on me Your Light has dawned

My name is known on high

Yet how my God can man be warned?

Through such a child as I

Anointed Lord, my thoughts must be

With strength, my cup please fill

To set the devil’s captives free

According to Your will..... Amen

About the Poet
I never wrote a word of poetry in my life. Till the day Jesus took my hand and touched my soul.....I invite your response. However most poems are not about me! Very few are. But the feed-back good, bad or indifferent is always desired. Not meant to offend, but I write about many things in many a guise. Of life, death, lost, found, saved, backsliders, new comers, repenting souls, doubting hearts, heathens, Christians, fire, water, Satan's daughter, wallowing in sin, saved, made sound walking in Light, graceful righteous. Suffering, ecstatic, bored, excited, sad, delighted, Sick, well, lame, able, living, dying, etc. etc. etc. Writing about anything, everything and everyone as the spirit leads. All meant to reveal, waken, revive, encourage, shame, help. Gladden, pick up, exalt, portrait, liberate. Again over 99% of my work is not about me. Although at times I write as though I were or am. Speaking e.g. in the first person. This is quite common even in the bible itself. Prophets speak of themselves, then God speaks, again the prophet, then God......Quite often it's difficult to distinguish whom it is that at any given time is speaking or narrating.
