Eternal Peace

Eternal Peace

Whether we live whether we die

Without God’s Son we wonder why

Yet they who have, can sleep at night

Knowing The Lord has all in sight

Jesus gives peace the world can’t give

True joy to those in faith who’ll live

Though troubles in the world are found

God’s promise is for higher ground

The world may wear her mocking smile

May taunt God’s children for a while

But through her shame, all slight will cease

When Jesus Christ removes His peace

God’s Lamb gives life, and longs to bring

Inside each heart sweet songs to sing

Sweet melodies of love so true

A taste what God has stored for you

Open your heart let truth within

Allow God’s Spirit purge your sin

Christ Jesus died to save your soul

Allow The Truth to make you whole

Though truly dead, now Jesus lives

Eternal life through faith He gives

As Groom; life’s King will claim His bride

Open your heart, the lock’s inside

God’s Spirit comes to stake His claim

Purging free of filth and shame

The world can’t see, He’s always there

All burdens pain and weight to share

So have no doubt have no more fear

Man’s future now is crystal clear

Walk true as bride with love and care

Then join your Bridegroom in the air..…

About the Poet
I never wrote a word of poetry in my life. Till the day Jesus took my hand and touched my soul.....I invite your response. However most poems are not about me! Very few are. But the feed-back good, bad or indifferent is always desired. Not meant to offend, but I write about many things in many a guise. Of life, death, lost, found, saved, backsliders, new comers, repenting souls, doubting hearts, heathens, Christians, fire, water, Satan's daughter, wallowing in sin, saved, made sound walking in Light, graceful righteous. Suffering, ecstatic, bored, excited, sad, delighted, Sick, well, lame, able, living, dying, etc. etc. etc. Writing about anything, everything and everyone as the spirit leads. All meant to reveal, waken, revive, encourage, shame, help. Gladden, pick up, exalt, portrait, liberate. Again over 99% of my work is not about me. Although at times I write as though I were or am. Speaking e.g. in the first person. This is quite common even in the bible itself. Prophets speak of themselves, then God speaks, again the prophet, then God......Quite often it's difficult to distinguish whom it is that at any given time is speaking or narrating.
