Arise Zion Arise

 'Arise Zion Arise

The Truth is yet on earth to see

His voice rings loud and clear

Anointing such as you and me

Reveals Hes truly here

Out on the street we must be seen

Dispensing Heavens Word

Portraying Christ through vessels clean

Till all the world has heard

Till all her children hear the call

Till all have seen our Light Mt.5:14

Like calves released from out the stall Mal.4:2

Well put the foe to flight Deut.32:30

Serving the bride whom Christ will save

Ploughing the fields and sow Mt.28:19

Till hell becomes an empty grave

Till love is seen to flow Ps.18:28

Till streams and rivers bow their head Ex.14:16+Jos.3:17

Till hills and mountains fall Isa.2:14

Until we raise the walking dead Jn.14:12

In answer to the call Act.3:16

Till lives are changed through birth anew

Till love lays wide its gate

We cant continue as we do

We just cant sit and wait Am.6:1

We must recall our lives before! Deut.5:15

As captives bound to sin

When locked still tight was Heavens door

Till grace has beckoned in

We need to heed Gods voice inside

Rise up in robes of Light Isa.60:1

Shine forth as Jesus faithful bride

Go out and win the fight..

About the Poet
I never wrote a word of poetry in my life. Till the day Jesus took my hand and touched my soul.....I invite your response. However most poems are not about me! Very few are. But the feed-back good, bad or indifferent is always desired. Not meant to offend, but I write about many things in many a guise. Of life, death, lost, found, saved, backsliders, new comers, repenting souls, doubting hearts, heathens, Christians, fire, water, Satan's daughter, wallowing in sin, saved, made sound walking in Light, graceful righteous. Suffering, ecstatic, bored, excited, sad, delighted, Sick, well, lame, able, living, dying, etc. etc. etc. Writing about anything, everything and everyone as the spirit leads. All meant to reveal, waken, revive, encourage, shame, help. Gladden, pick up, exalt, portrait, liberate. Again over 99% of my work is not about me. Although at times I write as though I were or am. Speaking e.g. in the first person. This is quite common even in the bible itself. Prophets speak of themselves, then God speaks, again the prophet, then God......Quite often it's difficult to distinguish whom it is that at any given time is speaking or narrating.
