Surprise Surprise!

The bible tells us crystal clear

When Jesus’ church takes wing

She’ll leave behind this world of fear          Rev.22:14

And death’s worrisome sting                       1Co.15:55

The world will wear her shrouds of night

Her eyes will open wide

Having rejected Heaven’s Light

Casting The Truth aside

Her wayward brood consumed with lies

Will live as devil taught

Will find The Judge at their demise

Will have their sad report                            Rev.20:12

A sad surprise will cheaters greet

When liars meet their end

When rebels at the Bema Seat                    Rev.20:12

Will find their knees must bend

Yet still the world rebel at will

Man’s lust concedes no bounds                 1Pe.4:3

But soon before they reach their fill

The Reaper does his rounds                       Rev.6:8

Do not be fooled by Satan’s lies               1Cor.6:9

Don’t share the devil’s fate                       Gal.6:7

It’s not the end when someone dies

For death is just a gate

It opens wide life’s Judge to greet

Where angels fear to tread

There’s no escape the judgement seat      Heb.9:27

Not even when we’re dead                        Rev.20:13

Seek now The Truth of Jesus Christ         Jn.14:6

Pray now to understand                             Jn.13:7

The reason He was sacrificed                   Lk.24:7

Then rise to live as planned…..

About the Poet
I never wrote a word of poetry in my life. Till the day Jesus took my hand and touched my soul.....I invite your response. However most poems are not about me! Very few are. But the feed-back good, bad or indifferent is always desired. Not meant to offend, but I write about many things in many a guise. Of life, death, lost, found, saved, backsliders, new comers, repenting souls, doubting hearts, heathens, Christians, fire, water, Satan's daughter, wallowing in sin, saved, made sound walking in Light, graceful righteous. Suffering, ecstatic, bored, excited, sad, delighted, Sick, well, lame, able, living, dying, etc. etc. etc. Writing about anything, everything and everyone as the spirit leads. All meant to reveal, waken, revive, encourage, shame, help. Gladden, pick up, exalt, portrait, liberate. Again over 99% of my work is not about me. Although at times I write as though I were or am. Speaking e.g. in the first person. This is quite common even in the bible itself. Prophets speak of themselves, then God speaks, again the prophet, then God......Quite often it's difficult to distinguish whom it is that at any given time is speaking or narrating.
