        Grace

How wondrous is The Father’s grace?

How much is yet un-shown? –1Co.2:9

How much until we see His face

Will still remain unknown?

By Heaven’s grace whilst dead in shame –Eph.2:5

By Satan tightly bound –Ro.5:10+Ac.10:38

God’s Spirit with His Holy Flame –Lk.3:16

Can by a child be found –Mt.7:6

Though Satan prowls both night and day –1Pe.5:8

In Christ stands firm the law –Mt.5;18

When darkness leads to disobey

God’s grace increases more –Ro.5:20

We’re saved, by grace, and not by might –Eph.2:8

We’re dead, and sealed with love –Ro. 6:3

We’re raised in Christ, mighty of Light –Ro.6:4

Prepared for life above –Eph.2:10+Eph.2:6

Alive in Christ, no more to sin –1Jn.5:18

Divorced from selfish gain –Ro.6:12

By grace God’s Spirit deep within

Takes doubt and eases pain –Rev.21:4

In Christ we’ve died to sin at last –Ro.6:2-4

To life The Way is clear –Pr.5+6

By grace we’re free of all our past –Ro.6:7

With nought from God to fear –Ps.133:3

But when the wicked, grace is shown –Isa.26:10

When mercy comes to call –Heb.3:7-8

They throw at God the nearest stone –Jn.8:7

Again in filth to fall –2Pe.2:22

God’s time of grace stands but a while –2Co.6:2

Yet no one knows how long –Ac.14:27+Rev.3:7

When one day soon He’ll cease to smile –Mt.7:23

What then; will be your song?…..

About the Poet
I never wrote a word of poetry in my life. Till the day Jesus took my hand and touched my soul.....I invite your response. However most poems are not about me! Very few are. But the feed-back good, bad or indifferent is always desired. Not meant to offend, but I write about many things in many a guise. Of life, death, lost, found, saved, backsliders, new comers, repenting souls, doubting hearts, heathens, Christians, fire, water, Satan's daughter, wallowing in sin, saved, made sound walking in Light, graceful righteous. Suffering, ecstatic, bored, excited, sad, delighted, Sick, well, lame, able, living, dying, etc. etc. etc. Writing about anything, everything and everyone as the spirit leads. All meant to reveal, waken, revive, encourage, shame, help. Gladden, pick up, exalt, portrait, liberate. Again over 99% of my work is not about me. Although at times I write as though I were or am. Speaking e.g. in the first person. This is quite common even in the bible itself. Prophets speak of themselves, then God speaks, again the prophet, then God......Quite often it's difficult to distinguish whom it is that at any given time is speaking or narrating.
