     A Child Will Lead Them

The church elect, may come to fail –Mt.24:24

Where Satan, can deceive

But so that none should end in jail –2Sa.14:14

God warns; that we believe

To change direction of His fold

From man! God makes His choice –Mt.22:14

No army, need the truth be told

The Lord may choose one voice .Ex.3:1

Great numbers are of no concern –1Ch.21:-

All life is in His hand

On Christ God’s Word, the world will burn

Best this; we understand

Commandments can be quite profound

He’ll scold to of guilt

God even shakes the very ground

On which man’s faith is built

It’s hard to leave one’s hopes behind –Mk.10:6

Yet Christ as Lord must reign

But facts are never hard to find

Once man is born again

But those still lost could feel inept

Although they’ve heard The Call

Their foolish pride may not accept

The facts from someone small –Isa.11:6

In Truth it matters not the size –Jdg.6:15

How long in Christ we’ve been –Jn.4:28,29,39

God’s least, may soon confound the wise –1Sa.3:3-18

The proud; in Jesus’ queen

Be free as doves yet like a snake –Mt.10:16

Heed well the prophet’s word –1Th.5:20

The Lord is true, make no mistake –Jn.14:6

Yet weigh everything heard –1Co.14:29…..

About the Poet
I never wrote a word of poetry in my life. Till the day Jesus took my hand and touched my soul.....I invite your response. However most poems are not about me! Very few are. But the feed-back good, bad or indifferent is always desired. Not meant to offend, but I write about many things in many a guise. Of life, death, lost, found, saved, backsliders, new comers, repenting souls, doubting hearts, heathens, Christians, fire, water, Satan's daughter, wallowing in sin, saved, made sound walking in Light, graceful righteous. Suffering, ecstatic, bored, excited, sad, delighted, Sick, well, lame, able, living, dying, etc. etc. etc. Writing about anything, everything and everyone as the spirit leads. All meant to reveal, waken, revive, encourage, shame, help. Gladden, pick up, exalt, portrait, liberate. Again over 99% of my work is not about me. Although at times I write as though I were or am. Speaking e.g. in the first person. This is quite common even in the bible itself. Prophets speak of themselves, then God speaks, again the prophet, then God......Quite often it's difficult to distinguish whom it is that at any given time is speaking or narrating.
