The Greatest Miracle
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

the Greatest Miracle

Do wonders still exist today?

Can visions still appear?

Did miracles just fade away?

Or one day disappear?

Is Satan chained or roaming free

Are devils bound or loosed

The church of Christ cannot agree

Making the bride confused

Are healings in the churches still?

Has death misplaced it’s sting?

What has become The Saviour’s will?

What will the future bring?

“God’s miracles will cease on high

Wonders will not be found

Except the fact like Jonah; I

Will while beneath the ground”

While man looks on with baffles eyes

Would Jesus act the clown?

Would a miracle wear disguise?

Or confusion a crown

God’s Truth to all is given free

Confusion’s not of Him

The facts of life are plain to see

Apart from eyes still dim

We must beware of what we say

Of how we share our view

A word could make some children stray

Or foolish deed we do

The facts of life the church must learn

To labour not in vain

So now before our Groom’s return

True wisdom needs to reign.....

The world is full of those who doubt

Within their ivory tower

Thinking to know what’s God’s about

Denying Jesus’ power

Though miracles few claim to see

Wonders seem less than rare

As in the past countless agree

They’re daily everywhere

Believe by faith and not by sight

By faith we understand

By faith many enrobed in white

See God’s almighty hand

Surgeons skilled with dexterous wealth

Wonders now perform

Restoring dead bodies to health

Appears to be the norm?

Transplanting hearts and eyes to see

The skill of tongs and knife

Does God not give these talents free?

Prolonging human life!

Its God The Father God The Son

The Spirit deep inside

Such untold miracles are done

That seems to coincide

Coincidence; there’s no such thing

No chance; on Zion hill

Only God’s Word His praise to sing

Fulfils His grace and will

The greatest miracle of all

Through Jesus’ blood on earth

To those remorseful when we fall

God gives a brand new birth…..

About the Poet
I never wrote a word of poetry in my life. Till the day Jesus took my hand and touched my soul.....I invite your response. However most poems are not about me! Very few are. But the feed-back good, bad or indifferent is always desired. Not meant to offend, but I write about many things in many a guise. Of life, death, lost, found, saved, backsliders, new comers, repenting souls, doubting hearts, heathens, Christians, fire, water, Satan's daughter, wallowing in sin, saved, made sound walking in Light, graceful righteous. Suffering, ecstatic, bored, excited, sad, delighted, Sick, well, lame, able, living, dying, etc. etc. etc. Writing about anything, everything and everyone as the spirit leads. All meant to reveal, waken, revive, encourage, shame, help. Gladden, pick up, exalt, portrait, liberate. Again over 99% of my work is not about me. Although at times I write as though I were or am. Speaking e.g. in the first person. This is quite common even in the bible itself. Prophets speak of themselves, then God speaks, again the prophet, then God......Quite often it's difficult to distinguish whom it is that at any given time is speaking or narrating.
