Will We Ever Learn?
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

  Will we ever learn?

He was He is He’ll always be

King of kings eternally

God’s living Word ere time began

Alpha, Omega, God and Man

Love enthroned in Heaven’s glare

Amazing Light beyond compare

Salvation dawned through Christ on earth

Restoring man through second birth

Till then condemned, man walked in shame

Adam and Eve were joint to blame

Disobeying The Lord’s command

God barred them from His sacred land

In flame! Life’s door stayed tightly sealed

Till Heaven’s Lamb, Love’s plan revealed

For though God’s Word to all was free

Through sin, few eyes God’s Truth could see

From past mistakes we must progress

But man it seems could care no less

Evil seduced! The human race

Must now repent and seek God’s face

Unseen! The Lord may still be heard

True faith perceives His guiding Word

The choicest wine the strongest meat

God places at His children’s feet

While mercy reigns on Heaven’s throne

While Jesus’ heart’s not made of stone

No single word can God deny

That from His lips He spoke on high

Yet who’ll take heed and not rebel?

Who’ll flee God’s wrath and certain hell?

Who’ll bear in mind the wife of Lot?

Who’ll reign with Christ regardless cost?.....

About the Poet
I never wrote a word of poetry in my life. Till the day Jesus took my hand and touched my soul.....I invite your response. However most poems are not about me! Very few are. But the feed-back good, bad or indifferent is always desired. Not meant to offend, but I write about many things in many a guise. Of life, death, lost, found, saved, backsliders, new comers, repenting souls, doubting hearts, heathens, Christians, fire, water, Satan's daughter, wallowing in sin, saved, made sound walking in Light, graceful righteous. Suffering, ecstatic, bored, excited, sad, delighted, Sick, well, lame, able, living, dying, etc. etc. etc. Writing about anything, everything and everyone as the spirit leads. All meant to reveal, waken, revive, encourage, shame, help. Gladden, pick up, exalt, portrait, liberate. Again over 99% of my work is not about me. Although at times I write as though I were or am. Speaking e.g. in the first person. This is quite common even in the bible itself. Prophets speak of themselves, then God speaks, again the prophet, then God......Quite often it's difficult to distinguish whom it is that at any given time is speaking or narrating.
