Israel's Future

Israel's Future

He’ll kiss to soothe her ailing heart

Relieve her soul of pain

Jerusalem! God will impart

The Truth to life again

Praising on roads on every street

Hosannas ringing clear

Jacob will see those hands and feet

And cry “My God You’re here”

You are The Christ The promised Lord

Life’s Rock life’s Corner Stone

God’s precious Word God’s mighty Sword

The King on David’s throne

Oh Lord dear God You’ve come at last

To those who’ve suffered long

Repenting of our wayward past

Right now our every wrong

To those You’ve called to do Your will

Your written word to bear

Salvation’s dawned on Zion Hill

For Israel to share

They’d wrench us from the human race

To death’s dark gaping jaw

Yet Israel by Heaven’s grace

Will rise unseen before

Chosen to bear The living Word

To walk Your chosen path

To live and thrive and like a bird

To flee the coming wrath

With arms stretched forth still open wide

With voice both sweet and low

Calling Jacob to come inside

With grace to overflow.....

JACOB’S PROMISE REALIZED

The first are last, the last are first

Toward our unseen goal

God welcomes all to quench their thirst

And feed their hungry soul

Let Israel see The Truth Lord

Let darkness close its gate

Let Jacob flee the coming sword

From those consumed with hate

Grant Jacob Lord a blessing now

Let Israel unite

Open their eyes their knees to bow

To Heaven’s Word & Light

That they may see The living One

Let darkness beat retreat

Reveal them Christ, Your Lamb Your Son

With pierced hands and feet

Let Jesus stand as God & man

Glorious Lord supreme

Fulfilling love’s eternal plan

Ending the devil’s dream

We ask my God because we care

With heart and soul confess

Salvation Lord we pray You share

With brothers in distress

Israel’s faith in true love’s law

In fear of Your name

Open their eyes open the door

To Heaven’s Dove & Flame

As written let us all draw nigh

At Jesus’ royal command

Let praises ring never to die

In Jacob’s Promised Land.....

About the Poet
I never wrote a word of poetry in my life. Till the day Jesus took my hand and touched my soul.....I invite your response. However most poems are not about me! Very few are. But the feed-back good, bad or indifferent is always desired. Not meant to offend, but I write about many things in many a guise. Of life, death, lost, found, saved, backsliders, new comers, repenting souls, doubting hearts, heathens, Christians, fire, water, Satan's daughter, wallowing in sin, saved, made sound walking in Light, graceful righteous. Suffering, ecstatic, bored, excited, sad, delighted, Sick, well, lame, able, living, dying, etc. etc. etc. Writing about anything, everything and everyone as the spirit leads. All meant to reveal, waken, revive, encourage, shame, help. Gladden, pick up, exalt, portrait, liberate. Again over 99% of my work is not about me. Although at times I write as though I were or am. Speaking e.g. in the first person. This is quite common even in the bible itself. Prophets speak of themselves, then God speaks, again the prophet, then God......Quite often it's difficult to distinguish whom it is that at any given time is speaking or narrating.
