    Live! the life.

Its not how oft to church we go

Its not the good we do

Its not the people that we know

Nor if we share their view

Its not great tithes to God we pay Mal.3:6-18

How much we give the poor Lk.21:2

Its not how oft we fast and pray 1Sa.15:22

Nor if or not were sure Mt.17:20

Its not fine words we choose to speak

How good in church we sing

But when The Cross we truly seek Mt.6:33

And make Gods Lamb our King Php.1:21

Its when The Lord, is Lord indeed Lk.6:46

When Christ becomes lifes guide Ps.23:3

When Heavens Flame, Salvations Seed Ac.1:4

Has come to dwell inside Ac.2:39

Its when The Truth through life we live 2Pe.3:11

Walking as Jesus taught Jn.14:6

When heart and soul to God we give Lk.14:33

As in Loves true report Is.53:1

As children in the school of life Mt.18:3

Accept Christs teachings true Pr.2:1-6

Ordained to be His faithful wife Rev.21:9

Receive His birth anew -1Jn.5:4

When self has truly come to kneel

When I has bowed its head

On these, The Lord will place His Seal Jn.6:27

And raise the walking dead

Righteous; must then our highway be

Gods every word obey Jn.14:15

Whove rid themselves of lifes debris Ro.8:21

Experience no decay Ro.8:2..

About the Poet
I never wrote a word of poetry in my life. Till the day Jesus took my hand and touched my soul.....I invite your response. However most poems are not about me! Very few are. But the feed-back good, bad or indifferent is always desired. Not meant to offend, but I write about many things in many a guise. Of life, death, lost, found, saved, backsliders, new comers, repenting souls, doubting hearts, heathens, Christians, fire, water, Satan's daughter, wallowing in sin, saved, made sound walking in Light, graceful righteous. Suffering, ecstatic, bored, excited, sad, delighted, Sick, well, lame, able, living, dying, etc. etc. etc. Writing about anything, everything and everyone as the spirit leads. All meant to reveal, waken, revive, encourage, shame, help. Gladden, pick up, exalt, portrait, liberate. Again over 99% of my work is not about me. Although at times I write as though I were or am. Speaking e.g. in the first person. This is quite common even in the bible itself. Prophets speak of themselves, then God speaks, again the prophet, then God......Quite often it's difficult to distinguish whom it is that at any given time is speaking or narrating.
