For Nancy

"The Lord...is not willing that
any should perish,
but that all
should come to repentance."
(II Peter 3:9, KJV)

FOR NANCY

Lord, my heart's so burdened
I can scarcely pray ~
Open up her eyes, Lord,
Take the scales away.

She was my best friend, Lord,
We both thought as one;
That was before *You*, Lord,
Now those days are done.

Lord, break through her armor,
Claim her for Your own;
Flood her soul with love, Lord,
Melt her heart of stone.

Save her from herself, Lord,
Set her spirit free;
Jesus, please save Nancy ~
Save her, Lord, for me.

--Connie

"And this is the confidence
that we have in Him,
that, if we ask any thing
according to His will,
He heareth us:
And if we know that He hear us,
whatsoever we ask,
we know that we have the petitions
that we desired of Him."
(I John 5:14,15 KJV)

About the Poet
IN MEMORIAM I'm just a servant of the Lord that wants to magnify Him through poetry, and to cause others to focus on Him.
