Up to You

"But if serving the Lord
seems undesirable to you,
then choose for yourselves this day
whom you will serve..."
(Joshua 24:15a, KJV)

Up to You

You cannot choose your parents
Or the circumstance of life,
You cannot opt for easy
If your road is full of strife.

But you can choose to blaspheme God
Or curse Him if you dare,
Or you can choose ignoring Him
And living in despair.

However, if you choose God's way
And strive to put Him first,
He'll show you great and mighty things ~
He'll satisfy your thirst.

You cannot know what lies ahead
No matter what you do,
But you *can* choose which road you take ~
The choice is up to you.

--Connie

"...as for me and my house,
we will serve the Lord."
(Joshua 24:15b, NIV)

About the Poet
IN MEMORIAM I'm just a servant of the Lord that wants to magnify Him through poetry, and to cause others to focus on Him.
