If You Knew

If you knew how much He loves you,
How He longs for you each day,
How He wants to hear you speak to Him
And needs to hear you pray,
How no one else can take your place,
How He believes in you ~
You'd never doubt His love again,
Not ever,
If you knew.

If you knew how much He loves you,
How He treasures you most dear,
How He grieves inside each time you weep
And aches to hold you near,
How He cherishes your thoughts of Him,
How He delights in you ~
You'd never doubt His love again,
Not ever,
If you knew.

--Connie

"The Lord your God is with you,
He is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing."
(Zephaniah 3:17, NIV)

About the Poet
IN MEMORIAM I'm just a servant of the Lord that wants to magnify Him through poetry, and to cause others to focus on Him.
