Valentine Jewels
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

So precious to the Lord
are your very thoughts of Him,
they're recorded
in a book of remembrance.

What would you like this Valentine's Day,
A card that says, "Be Mine" ~
A heart-shaped box of chocolates
With "Be My Valentine"?
Would it impress you to receive
A huge floral bouquet?
Tell me, which one would please you most
On this St. Valentine's Day?

I'm sure that if you search your heart
You'll find that it is true ~
The one thing that would please you most
Is simply "I Love You!"
So on this day when we reach out
To touch the ones we love,
Let's send a simple "I Love You"
Up to the One above!

--Connie

"...and a book of remembrance
was written before Him
for them that feared the Lord,
and that thought upon His name.
And they shall be Mine, saith the Lord of hosts,
in that day when I make up My jewels..."
(Malachi 3:16-17 KJV)

About the Poet
IN MEMORIAM I'm just a servant of the Lord that wants to magnify Him through poetry, and to cause others to focus on Him.
