Nuh-uh

If you were a channel, I'd change you,
If you were TV, I'd hit Mute,
If you were online I'd erase you,
Backspace ~ delete ~ and kaput!

Made me think you'd be my sunshine,
you turned out nothin' but rain,
Made me think you'd be my refuge,
you turned out nothin' but pain.

Right from the git-go you knew it,
I learned my lesson and how ~
Chance of a lifetime, you blew it:
Mr. Right? ~~~ Mr. Right Now!

--Connie

"Except the LORD
build the house,
they labour in vain
that build it"

(Psalm 127:1 KJV)

About the Poet
IN MEMORIAM I'm just a servant of the Lord that wants to magnify Him through poetry, and to cause others to focus on Him.
