A Prayer Away
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

A Prayer Away

Don't be distressed
Or worried,
Be confident
And still...
For many prayers
Are going up,
All asking
For God's will.

The road ahead
Seems dark now,
There's not much
You can do...
But place yourself
Within His hands,
And He will
See you through.

So trust Him
For each moment,
Cast on Him
Every care...
And His strong arms
Will carry you
When it's too much
To bear.

There's power
For the asking,
And strength
For each new day...
The Great Physician's
Still "on call" ~
He's just
A prayer away.

--Connie

"Be still and know that I am God,
and in quietness and confidence
shall be your strength."

About the Poet
IN MEMORIAM I'm just a servant of the Lord that wants to magnify Him through poetry, and to cause others to focus on Him.
