The Gospel in a Nutshell

"For God so loved the world"
My friend, that one verse tells you why...
Why the Father sent His only son
Down to this earth to die.

"God gave His only begotten Son"
And in His endless grace,
Christ nailed your sins upon that cross
And He died in your place.

So now if you'll believe in Him
You'll never have to die,
And He'll give you unending life
In that sweet bye-and-bye.

"For God so loved the world," my friend,
That Christ died on that tree ~
And if you'll ask Him in your heart
He'll set your spirit free.

--Connie

"For God so loved the world
that He gave His only begotten Son
that whosoever believeth in Him
should not perish,
but have everlasting life."
(John 3:16, KJV)

About the Poet
IN MEMORIAM I'm just a servant of the Lord that wants to magnify Him through poetry, and to cause others to focus on Him.
