Of Sheep and Wolves
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

       Of Sheep And Wolves

Poor lost sheep without a Shepherd
wandering through troubled times.
Not finding where they should be going.
With eyes grown dim and one track minds.
Feeding the hungers of the flesh.
Not seeing too far past the nose.
While concentrating on themselves
as darkness closely followed.
For there within this world's deception
wolves had gathered for this day.
With cruel intent and clever disguise
awaiting those then gone astray.
Oh who could save these helpless ones
when trusted ones had taken flight?
When those who once had been a Shepherd
vanished in the night.
Was there no hope? Was all now lost?
Was there no one with sword in hand?
Would fang and claw now tear the flesh
spreading defeat across the land?
The victory against all foes
comes from The First and Last.
For wolves shall fall to left and right
where The Sword Of Truth does flash.
