Winds of Imagination

Imagination's Winds

A mighty sailing ship it was.
With a long walk from stem to stern.
Four masts did stand upon the deck.
With sails that for strong winds did yearn.
And when seen upon the open sea.
No ship around could ere' draw near.
For when the sails did billow full.
In a cloud of mist it disappeared.
Many had sought to change it's course.
Dirty scoundrels, pirates and such.
But even when the hooks were slung.
This mighty thing escaped untouched.
Some said it was a ghost ship.
It's captain gripped by hell's cold hands.
Others said it was nothing at all.
Just a mirage destined for enchanted lands.
But it mattered not unto the ship.
What names were called or curses thrown.
For imagined winds did fill the sails.
And the mighty ship sailed on.
