Dry Bones
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

             Dry Bones

Dry bones there upon the ground.
Bleached pale white in time undone.
A tale of battle told there-in.
This sad display of nothing won.
Like alabaster carvings they.
Yet with no pleasure for the eye.
Just dry bones there upon the ground.
Not knowing how nor caring why.
Such is fate. But what of faith?
What of holding tight onto?
What of seeking, hearing, finding?
What of life that will be new?
What of the darkness' growing fear?
Where those dry bones do dwell.
What of the Voice all will hear?
That shatters death and empties hell.
Tis then no pale white thing will be.
In lifeless scattered sad display.
For Jesus voice shall conquer all.
Upon that resurrection day.
