No Idle Talk

Not Idle Talk

From the One that holds forever.

To His creation known as earth.

Amidst a world of non-belief

there came the promise of rebirth.

Yet many did not welcome change,

being held by ancient ways.

And those that did suffered trials

that carry to these current days.

But still a remnant does hold strong

to all the past has shown.

They still believe that God is God.

And through His Son they are reborn.

So when the way seems overgrown

and the path is hard to walk.

Remember the Cross and the empty Tomb.

Then know Jesus is not idle talk.
