From Bended Knees

   From Bended Knees

Sure is easy to get the blues
when looking through these worldly eyes.
At times the glory of that above
can get covered over by darkened skies.
The journey each must make in life
would be filled with fear and dread.
But for the promises remembered
and the guiding light just overhead.
One might not hear that still small voice.
Or see a nail scarred reaching hand.
But the spirit hears and sees it all.
And it's then from bended knees you stand.
Eyes look up to Heaven.
Dark clouds no longer shield the view.
For forming there upon the sunrise
are the words, I love you.
