The List
Watched the old man walk away into the distance of the past. Two thousand eleven worn and frail forever knowing it wouldn't last. Hopes and dreams no longer such for time did pass them by. The clock ticked on in steady rhythym. Then... brilliant flashes past midnight sky. And the baby cried. Not tears of pain nor sadness formed within those eyes so new. No... Two thousand twelve began it's life with hopes and dreams right on cue. And now for one that witnessed all upon an electric viewing screen. With faith in God a list was made. The list of hopes and dreams. And a smile took form. |
