           Once Again

Just want to hear some Jingle Bells
or go Dashing Through The Snow.
Be nice to view that Silent Night
Away In A Manger so long ago.
Maybe that Little Drummer Boy
that's still somewhere inside.
Can once again stir the soul
and on the wings of wonder glide.
Above the darkness gathering
and beyond the grasp of fear.
To once more claim a gift of peace
knowing Jesus is ever near.

About the Poet
59 and holding. Married to the love of my life for 35 years. We are a Christian family with 3 grown kids and a hard headed chihuahua named Peppy. I enjoy writing poetry and hope it brings a smile or maybe even uplifts a little.
