Thanksgiving came again
just like last year. With turkey and fixins, and loved ones near. There was football to watch as the meal settled down. You know it's amazing I don't gain many pounds. But in the midst of happiness a thought settled in. What about the less fortunate? Are they with family and friends? Is their table running over with a Thanksgiving feast? In focusing on the many have I forgotten the least? Dear Lord I pray this is not the case. So that when the time comes I can look at your face. |
