Truth

Truth

This truth can sustain my faith in this world
Where all the devil’s evil darts are hurled.

It can check my want to even the score
If I’ve put it into God’s hands, what’s more.

It can purify my motivation
Repent, believe, follow – my vocation.

God can increase compassion for people,
Cause me to love and pray for them – equal.

I can, in my life, feel Him close to me.

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
