Is this life like being in the middle of a bridge
When you're wondering what's at the other end,
And you are asking God to help you just a smidge?

Wouldn't it be nice if He gave you road signs each day -
Nice little signs - "Hang on now-you are almost there"-
That would be such an encouragement along the way.

If we had it easy we mightn't need Heaven's hope.
Our light here may grow dim, but His light never does.
He gave us His Holy Word so we don't have to grope.

"As you have therefore received Christ, (even) Jesus
the Lord (so) walk (regulate your lives and conduct
yourselves) in union with and conformity to Him.
Colossians 2:6  Amplified Bible

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
