This Life

Making progress in this life?
Am I sitting still?
Am I depending on God
To help do His will?

Progressing - leaning on Him?
Do it by myself?
Trying by my wits or whim,
Landing on a shelf?

The more I depend on God -
A case of have to!
Sure in Him my feet are shod,
Kept by holy glue.

“Teach us to number our days,
That we may cultivate and bring to you a heart of wisdom.”
Psalm 90:12   (Amplified Bible)

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
