God Don't Make No Junk

All of Creation reflects the glory of God.
He holds the world together by natural law -
The galaxies that surround the earth made by God.
Creation done, He was happy with what He saw.

"Let us make man in Our image, in Our likeness.
Let them rule over all the creatures of the Earth."
God created and He has never made a mess.
He knew all about you, even before your birth.

Your life is not an accident or random chance.
Your life is meant to be a unique reflection
Of Him who made you, knows you. You're not happenstance.
You are neither garbage nor are you perfection.

Jesus is much more than a cosmic caretaker.
He keeps us going even when brokenhearted.
He'll keep your "boat" afloat - to Him let us defer.
This world is so hard, but He keeps the fainthearted.

God gives new life to those who reflect His glory.
As humans we're always in conflict with evil.
But God sent a Savior who can change life's story.
He can save your soul.  Trust His perfect retrieval.

*Ethel Waters once said, "I know I'm somebody
'cause God don't make no junk."

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
