Are You at Home on Earth?

At Home on Earth?

We cannot live by bread alone.
The body requires nutrition.
Material things don’t satisfy.
And some don’t come to fruition.

People may make it to the top,
Then find that it’s lonely up there.
See the fleeting nature of success,
Friends and family left somewhere.

Bible’s principles are vital
To everything else on earth.
God’s Word is what stands the test of time.
Of moth and rust there is a dirth.

Thieves can’t break in and steal what
is stored up in Heaven!

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
