Chaos or Peace

Chaos or Peace

My face may be sad at times
And my heart sink a little,
Seem as if I’m eating limes
Instead of peanut brittle.

It’s physical, not mental,
Just rest a while, be better.
Jesus works - He is gentle.
To His great love I’m debtor.

Lives lived in chaos abound.
Without Christ, they try and try.
Their lives without hope confound.
Deeply sad, they cry and cry.

May we offer love, concern,
Give because God gave to us
God, the Son -  now let us learn
His love’s unlimited - plus!

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
