Tell Me

                         Tell Me

The mind can form great words of praise,
but alas, of anger too.
Tell me, is there not some force
to come between the two?
For one can lift from deep despair
unto that place above.
The other, spread a veil of darkness
upon the face of Love.
What if the heart, the mind, and soul,
were given to God's Son?
Should not anger's power  fade
from this Trinity of One?

About the Poet
59 and holding. Married to the love of my life for 35 years. We are a Christian family with 3 grown kids and a hard headed chihuahua named Peppy. I enjoy writing poetry and hope it brings a smile or maybe even uplifts a little.
