Can You See?

As you read about that hill
standing there on high.
Can you see the Cross of Glory
there against the sky?
Can you see it is now empty
with no figure nailed onto?
As you read about that hill
do you know what he went through?
As you read about His tomb
where our Savior once did lay.
Can you feel the loss they felt?
Do you know the price He paid?
Can you see His lifeless body
bruised and battered there within?
As you read about His tomb
can you feel the pain of sin?
As you read about the stone
that by God was moved aside.
Can you feel the shock and wonder
as they looked inside?
Can you hear the angel speak
words that brought forth joyous tears?
Can you feel the hope renewed?
"He is risen and no longer here."
As you look up at the sky
can you see Jesus standing there?
Skin like brass, eyes like fire
and streaks of gold within his hair.
Can you hear him call your name?
"Come my child it's time to go."
Can you feel the touch of glory?
One day His glory is all we'll know.
