A Tiny Plant
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

          A Tiny Plant

Down beneath the overgrowth
where light and rain diffuse.
A tiny plant reached up through soil
that whispered, What's the use?
You'll never in your hopeless life
extend above what you see.
Give up and shrivel into nothing.
Wait. Don't you hear me?
Inch by inch the tiny plant
struggled onward toward the sky.
And as it went strength increased
pushing past all nearby.
Till at last a blossom opened
revealing beauty beyond compare.
And in full sun and morning dew
God's glory was seen there.
