       Another Page

As the last lines were read,
and the mind processed it all.
In memory it found it's place
to await a further call.
The good outweighed the bad.
Tears were wiped away.
A smile became victorious
in the mist of a cloudy day.
Twas then a sunbeam brightly shined
it's beam to all below.
And the clouds began to melt away,
revealing then a rainbow.
Who's brilliant colors shimmered there,
causing the heart to yearn.
For another glimpse of God's true love,
and another page then was turned.

About the Poet
59 and holding. Married to the love of my life for 35 years. We are a Christian family with 3 grown kids and a hard headed chihuahua named Peppy. I enjoy writing poetry and hope it brings a smile or maybe even uplifts a little.
