So Wonderful

Ah yes, life is so wonderful.
Fair weather with blue skies.
Not one single bit of worry.
Not a thing to sting the eyes.
No pain, no sorrow, only joy
from sun to everlasting sun.
This is the life so wonderful
when days of Heaven are begun.
But now is life the flesh doth see
with all it's ups and downs.
With all it's unplanned interruptions
to change the smiles to frowns.
And yet and though and in spite of
what ever comes to be.
Here in this life of flesh and bone
tis not all pain and misery.
For hope doth grip with tender hands
and faith can see beyond.
Unto that life so wonderful.
So until then, this life goes on.
